■ Estimate your design's power usage before creating the design, during the design

process, or after the design is complete.

■ Import device resource information from the Quartus II software into the

PowerPlay Early Power Estimator with the use of the Quartus II-generated

PowerPlay Early Power Estimator file.

■ Perform preliminary thermal analysis of your design.
