get_read_data_burst()

get_read_data_burst()

This blocking task gets a read data burst previously created by the create_read_transaction()

function.

It calls the get_read_data_phase() task for each beat of the data burst, with the length of the

burst defined by the transaction record burst_length field.

AXI3 Example

// Declare a local variable to hold the transaction record.

axi_transaction read_trans;

// Create a read transaction with start address of 0 and assign

// it to the local read_trans variable.

read_trans = bfm.create_read_transaction(0);

....

// Get the read data burst for the read_trans transaction.

bfm.get_read_data_burst(read_trans);

AXI4 Example

// Declare a local variable to hold the transaction record.

axi4_transaction read_trans;

// Create a read transaction with start address of 0 and assign

// it to the local read_trans variable.

read_trans = bfm.create_read_transaction(0);

....

// Execute the read_trans transaction.

bfm.execute_transaction(read_trans);
