PCI Express Control DIP Switch

The PCI Express control DIP switch (SW3) provides control to enable or disable

different configurations. Table 2–17 shows the switch controls and descriptions.

Table 2–18 lists the PCI Express control DIP switch component reference and

manufacturing information.

Reset Configuration Push-button Switches

The load image push-button switch,

RESET_CONFIGn (LOAD IMAGE)

(PB5), is an input

to the MAX

II CPLD EPM2210 System Controller. The push-button switch forces a

reconfiguration of the FPGA from flash memory. The location in the flash memory is

based on the

LED_CONFIG_LED[2:0]

setting when the button is released. Valid settings

include

LED_CONFIG_LED0

LED_CONFIG_LED1

, or

LED_CONFIG_LED2

on the three pages

in flash memory reserved for FPGA designs.

The image select push-button switch,

factory (IMAGE SEL)

(PB6), toggles the

LED_CONFIG_LED[2:0]

sequence. Refer to Table 2–10 for the

LED_CONFIG_LED[2:0]

sequence definitions.

The MAX II reset push-button switch,

MAX_RESETn

(PB4), resets the MAX II CPLD

EPM2210 System Controller.

Table 2–19 lists the reset configuration push-button switches component reference

and manufacturing information.
